Wheels attached~

I had just finished modelling the tires for the model so I attached the tires to the rims and the wheels to the car to have a look wether It’ll be a cool set up or not~as you can see, enkei RPF1 blends perfectly with this car curve( thats what I think)~

Enkei RPF1 chosen~!!

Yep,I finally made my decision on what rims is to be used for the supra mod.its none other than the Enkei RPF1 which have no fewer fame than any other enkei rims. For the use of this car I have also added some offset to the rim as wider bodykit was used on this supra..

below is some pics of the rims I modelled~

Done with the hood and a sneak peek of the color scheme~

Had to rest yesterday since Im too tired..So today continued to work on the supra.Recently modelled the hood, based on the pic I found on the net~I dun have any good idea on the hood so I just googled the most used hood mods for supra 1992 and modelled a similar one.

Also, below is a sneak preview of the color scheme for this model that I had been thinking of~I am thinking of using CF for the black part of the body..

smoothing things up

Before modelling the spoiler I think I’ll try apply the smoothing to the models to see the result of my works until now~

on top is the model applied with mesh smooth with iteration 1 while the lower with turbo smooth iteration 2.I likes the result with the turbo smooth but since it boosted the poly counts to 130k poly,I think I’ll go with the mesh smooth.the mesh smooth modifiers only double the poly counts from 10k to 20k with the resulted surface somewhat similar to the one with turbo smooth..while the turbo smooth makes the poly boost from 10k to 40k even when iteration 1 is in use~

for now lets use the one with mesh smooth.or maybe later I can use the one with turbosmooth to bake maps to use with the lower poly one..
